Infant Nido
6 Weeks - 18 Months

The Environment
What does Nido mean? Nido is the Italian word for nest and is often used to describe the warmth and security of home one feels when in the Nido room. The Nido room is designed for infants as young as 6 Weeks through 18 months old. Our Nido classroom has been carefully designed to assist every child's needs. The environment is carefully prepared to stimulate an infants development, allowing them to freely move around the classroom and explore!

Feeding:
Our infant environment is prepared to accept both formula and breastfed infants.
The classroom is set up with low tables and chairs which allows your child an opportunity to explore self-feeding. As your child becomes more independent and shows readiness to self feed, we will guide them as they transition to solids.

Sleeping:

Our staff will work closely with the parents to continue the same methods used to comfort and soothe the child. The infant room is designed to be a tranquil place for a child to sleep as noise is kept to a minimum.  They are given the chance to rest as needed and wake up naturally.  As an infant grows and develops, we work with the parents to help promote independence and self regulating sleep habits.

We are currently enrolling for our Infant Nido. Please contact us to learn more about our program and to set up a tour!
